And here it starts.
I'm starting this because I've recently come back from travels in Europe, and seen so many little things that I want to bring back with me to Canada, and to my city. (Toronto)
I want to add little surprises to the community, and something that everyone can participate in. I hope it spreads out and succeeds. I mean, the idea of sharing books by leaving them for another person they don't know, and spreading stories is just really fun; discovering books lying throughout the city, waiting to be read, and passed on.
And we're not going to be spreading just any old book; we spread books that we've read, loved, and want to share with others. Even if we never meet the person. We hope we've shared something positive with them.
So far I've left two books on the subway, but it isn't until tonight that I've started this "movement".
I sincerely hope it catches on, and that everyone starts to leave stories that they love around the city.
